Celebrating A beachside romance in a gorgeous location near the sea

We are so excited to invite you all to our wedding festival weekend.

Our family and friends are the most important part of our lives and we wanted to make sure we spend as much time with you all celebrating the entire family as we can, so our wedding will be taking place over a long weekend at a beautiful venue with accommodation available for you all.

A few details we're excited to share

Everyone can stay onsite

There are 14 self catering cottages available, some with hot tubs, and there’s a pool.

SOOOO many games

We have lots of fun games and activities planned for the weekend with something for everyone.

Food, drink & party Time

Plenty of great food, drinks of all kinds and of course partying dancing and generally having an awesome time.

Arrival - Friday from 4pm

You can check in to the cottages from 4pm on the Friday, we’d love to spend the evening with anyone who can come. We’ll be organising food for the evening and there will just be lots of catching up

The Wedding Day - Saturday- Times TBC

Exact timings will be confirmed closer to the time but we are looking at a lunch-early afternoon ceremony, the ceremony is on site at the venue so no need to organise travel we will walk from the ceremony site straight to the reception marquee.

Sunday After party/ chill day

What you do this day is up to you, there will be a chilled BBQ for everyone to enjoy and a selection of activities and games, but everyone is free to do their own thing, use the amazing facilities and just enjoy time with the family.

Monday send-off

The fun comes to an end, we will have all had an amazing time but the fun has to end at some point, we’ll wave everyone off.

Travel

Kilminorth Cottages, Looe, Cornwall, PL13 2NE

Kilminorth is about 4 hours 20 minutes from Guildford, there are a few ways to get there and the sat nav is accurate, but we’d recommend avoiding going via Plymouth as the traffic is often pretty busy and you need to pay a toll to go over the Tamar Bridge. You can go along the A30 and come off near Colliford lake but either way takes the same time it all depends on traffic.

If you want to come on the Train there is a station in Looe (which is a branch line) or you can organise a lift be picked up from Liskeard station which is about 25 mins away and is on the main line.

Wedding Attire

We want our guests to feel comfortable on the wedding day so please wear whatever you like, the wedding party will be dressed up as you’d expect and the colour theme is teal and pink. Wear whatever you like but as you can tell by this website the day will be a colourful and sparky festival vibe so matching that is always encouraged if you feel so inclined.

The wedding is in a large marquee for the day but there is loads of outside space and we hope to have games on the lawn and outside as much as possible (as much as the Cornish weather will allow us) so we’d recommend no stilettos and something to wrap up in if its gets cold later in the evening.

If you can all put in a good word with the weather we’d much appreciate it but we’ll be partying whatever comes!

Venue & Accommodation

The entire venue is exclusively booked for the long weekend so that we can spend time all together. The space is amazing with awesome outside spaces, 14 self catering cottages, lots of them have hot tubs, and almost all have outside spaces, there’s a tennis court and the main attraction is the heated swimming pool which is brilliant for little ones, its also in the shape of a duck!

We have booked out the entire space and done all we can to subsidise the cost of the accommodation in the hope you will all be able to join us and enjoy a long weekend in Cornwall. We have sent you each a code to view persoanlised information and updates, please enter that below to view this info.

please let us know if you’re coming!

RSVP

Please enter the code you were sent to go to the accommodation and RSVP page.

Gifts

The biggest gift you can give us is to attend our wedding weekend, we appreciate that the travel and accommodation is a huge cost to everyone, and you’re the most important thing we could ask for so we aren’t asking for any gifts and don’t have a registry.

If you would really like to give a gift, a small contribution towards our honeymoon, hopefully somewhere with cocktails on the beach is more than we could ever ask for.
